LIL CHALLENGE | FEBRUARY 2025 WALL SIT💪🏾
We're loving ourselves this February with this Progressive Wall Sit Challenge!
DETAILS
1. START | Perform a wall sit and time yourself to see how long you can hold this position without coming out. Repeat with the same time two more times that week for a total of 3X/week.
2. CONTINUE | Progressively add 10 seconds each week. Example👇🏾
🟡Week 1 | 30 sec wall sit Mon., Wed., Fri.
🟡Week 2 | 40 sec wall sit Mon., Wed., Fri.
🟡Week 3 | 50 sec wall sit Mon., Wed., Fri.
🟡Week 4 | 1 min. wall sit Mon., Wed., Fri.
3. OPTIONS | There are 3 options for your wall sit if you have sensitive knees (Wall Sit, Squat Hold, Bridge)
4. TIP | Make sure you warm up your body before getting started and stretch after.
BENEFITS
1. Strengthens the Body | Booty, Abdomen, Thighs, Hips
2. Builds Endurance | This challenge encourages sustained time under tension (holding an uncomfortable position for a long time😊.) Our bodies and minds will learn how to endure something longer than we actually want to. By the end of the week, it should feel easier. Adding 10 seconds each week will further the challenge so we get stronger💪🏾
3. Increases Perseverance | There may be some days you don't wanna do the challenge, however each time you complete your wall sit you tap into that gift inside you to overcome obstacles. AKA "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Phil 4:13
